What this covers

Level I In-Home Aide training, explained

This is initial training for NC In-Home Aide Services Level I — non-medical home management and companion services such as light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, shopping, errands, and supervision. Level I aides do not provide hands-on personal care (bathing, dressing, transfers) — that requires Level II. No medical, nursing, or medication tasks are within Level I scope.

  • Required onboarding training for all CLSS Level I aides
  • Covers all 8 NC DAAS Level I training topics
  • Video lessons and knowledge checks tracked in your CLSS file
  • CLSS-issued certificate with total training hours upon completion
  • Pairs with CLSS field orientation and supervisor sign-off

Note: This Level I program is for non-medical home management and companion services only. It does not authorize hands-on personal care (Level II), medication administration, or any nursing task, and does not list you on the NC Nurse Aide Registry.
